The brief was to combine two adjacent apartments into one to provide over 4000 sq feet of lateral living space in a purpose built 1930`s mansion block in central London.

The original spaces were unmodernised and did not have many redeeming qualities between them, so providing a clean slate to work from. Proportions of existing rooms were altered to achieve a greater perception of space. Full height doors were used throughout to achieve consistency. Slabs of statutario marble and limestone were incorporated in the design of the bathrooms, again increasing the sense of scale from merely another domestic project to that of a high-end residential project.

Bespoke joinery was provided to accommodate disparate storage requirements, while soft furnishings and specialist paint finishes throughout impart natural warmth. Underfloor heating, A/C, Lutron lighting, audiovisual installation, security and cat 5 cabling were all integrated to the highest specification.
