The brief was to create a maisonette in a Victorian terraced house. Located on a quiet garden square in Central London the design needed to facilitate living accommodation for either a potential family occupant or a couple. Practical rooms such as Utility and Ensuite Bathrooms were introduced as well as opening rooms up between the Living and Kitchen areas to take advantage of natural light and views on the split levels.
Materials include a palette of greys: Athena Grey Marble, stained Oak flooring, ceramic tiles, polyester powder coated joinery and high quality fittings throughout. Bespoke modern elements including TV bench joinery and library shelving were introduced to complement reconditioned traditional Victorian cornices and shutter details.
